After 2 years of extensive testing, RPM executives have installed Tune® filters enterprise-wide. In the fall of 2020, filters were installed in 170 existing stores and are being added to new locations during construction. Based on the analysis of pilot locations, RPM anticipates a return on investment in less than 2 years and enterprise-wide savings of more than $100,000 annually.
When first introduced to the Tune® filter, RPM executives were skeptical but intrigued. They each installed filters in their homes and after 12 months they all reported savings of 10% or more. Given the savings in their homes, filters were installed in pilot stores for an additional 12 months of analysis.
