Fast food restaurants are often built to spec to provide similar energy consumption variables across locations. Krystal Fast Food has been around for well over 30 years with restaurant locations of varying ages, each built and owned by Krystal Fast Food Corp and operates 19 to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

TuneFilters (originally named T7 EMI Facility Filter) were installed at their Roswell store (built 1987) and Norcross, GA store (built 1994) , and used their Marietta, GA location (built 1990) as a control facility to compare results. One TuneFilter was installed at each location on Oct. 23, 2012 after creating a 12-month weather normalized baseline before installation, and followed with a 12-month third party analysis*to compare KWh/yr usage.
